When choosing vacuum furnace for sintering alumina ceramics, we should consider the following points. According to the above points, we should choose the vacuum furnace we need.
The sintering temperature of alumina transparent ceramics and transparent ceramics is 1800 - 1850 C. We choose the vacuum furnace type in this temperature range.

(3) Whether heating elements and insulation materials will pollute alumina transparent ceramics, the third point is the most important, that is, to select the appropriate heating elements. We have tungsten wires and graphite for the conventional heating elements at 1850 C. Here we choose the vacuum furnace heated by tungsten material, because at high temperature, the furnace heated by graphite will release carbon atmosphere, which will pollute our transparent alumina. In the past, some factories used graphite-heated vacuum furnaces to burn transparent alumina transparently by burying, but this method only carried out test sintering in the absence of tungsten type furnaces. It is not recommended that users purchase this type of vacuum furnaces.
(4) Whether hydrogen-filled sintering is needed or not, if hydrogen-filled sintering, the cyclic ignition function must be configured, the safety protection must be in place, and the explosion-proof system should be well done.
